Ravi Mallela

Ravi Mallela is the Senior Vice President in Finance at First Republic Bank. His responsibilities include managing the bank’s following functions: Corporate Treasury, Financial Planning and Analysis, Investment Operations and Monitoring, Cash Management, and Capital and Liquidity Stress Testing. 

Ravi manages balance sheet and income forecasting, strategic planning, non-interest income, expense planning and forecasting.  Ravi has ownership of ALM/IRR for the enterprise, including the implementation of new systems and processes, ALCO governance, interest rate risk analysis, EVE, and deposit migration and attrition analysis.  In addition, he oversees credit loss modeling, governance, challenge and review processes, and the overall DFAST capital stress testing process, as well as Board communication of DFAST results. Ravi also has responsibility for developing the bank’s liquidity stress testing process. 

Ravi is responsible for building a world class team to support the expanding finance team at First Republic Bank, while addressing expectations of a growing financial institution, greater that 50B in assets. 

Ravi Mallela has over 10+ years in the financial services industry including running the capital adequacy program at Wells Fargo, and establishing the capital stress testing process at Bank of Montreal. Ravi holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
